So...I do not know if anyone cares what we eat. Probably not, but I love to read other people's dinner choices to give myself ideas. A great blog with pictures of food is www.aggieskitchen.blogspot.com . She has wonderful recipes to try. We love to try new things, so maybe someone else will enjoy her recipes!
This week starts our 6 week countdown to the beach. I bought lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, grains, veggies...so hopefully the weight will come off! I actually shopped and made a menu for 2 weeks.
Sunday: crockpot "baked" chicken with bbq sauce, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies
Monday: redbeans and brown rice
Tuesday: slimfast's shrimp pasta recipe
Wednesday:fish, grilled asparagus, rice pilaf
Thursday: omelets, fruit salad, yogurt
Friday: Steak, rosemary potatoes, grilled asparagus
Saturday: leftovers
Sunday: Free Day: Country fried steak, collard greens, zuchini, mashed potatoes and gravy
Monday: pork tenderloin, grilled veggies, yellow rice
Tuesday: Fish, broccoli, brown rice
Wednesday: lemon proscuitto pasta from aggie's blog
Thursday: pinto beans and corn bread
Friday: leftovers
