Holidays are coming!!!

Fall is in the air this Monday morning. My air is off, my windows are open and it is Beautiful outside...just in time for Halloween. Woo hoo! We have a busy week too. Wednesday my girls get to get dressed up and go to Alivia's school carnival. They are going to be soo cute and it is going to be freezing here...probably in the 50's...cold for us.

Friday is Halloween and we do go Trick-or-Treating. I know some people are against this, but we do it and have a ball. We have a big neighborhood, that is very spread out...so we pull the girls in our wagon and do a block or so just for the experience. The girls get way too much candy just from that. Then we hand out candy to the kids who come to our house. The girls love to help do this as well. And, I got a bargain at Sam's club on a felt pumpkin filled with candy for 4.88.

Halloween makes me excited because it means the start to the holiday season. I ordered the supplies today to make homemade candles. It is a major bargain as well. For all of my candles, probably about 50 or so it will cost about 50 dollars. This will make gifts for several people and I will keep a bunch of them too because I LOVE candles. The site I ordered from is candlescience.com. I can't wait to make them. I HOPE they are easy to make...or at least not too difficult. :) My sisters, mom and I are going to try it together. I ordered 15 different scents...mostly holiday ones because I love the spicy holiday smells...just puts me in the holiday spirit.
