Tony has done so good so far...he has lost about 8 lbs in 2 weeks....so this diet/exercise plan is definitely working. In fact, we had a cheat day yesterday and he has had heartburn all day from the unhealthy food we ate.....and has not experienced heartburn the entire 2 weeks on this menu...so, the changes are good. I hope they will help to keep my weight in check this pregnancy as well.
Sunday: steak, "healthy" twice baked potatoes (skim-milk, low-fat cheese, low-fat sour cream, turkey bacon), roasted red/orange peppers, broccoli, collard greens
Monday: chicken/spinach sausage (this is a new one for us...hopefully it's good...only 4.5 grams of fat), mushrooms, peppers, onions, a bun, and mixed veggies
Tuesday: grilled chicken with bbq sauce, wild rice, steamed veggies
Wednesday: grilled fish, veggie kabobs, couscous
Thursday: roasted pork and veggies, healthy smashed potatoes
Friday: turkey burgers, baked sweet potato fries
