My sweet boy

Domenick had shots on Monday of this past week and the rotovirus drink. It totally messed his little system up. His 2 month shots had him out of whack for the day...fussy, feverish, hard to please. This time, he has been out of whack for a solid week. Just today I feel like my baby boy is back. He was feverish, tummy troubles, cranky, not sleeping well. I am about to put the smack down on those shots. I think we are going to be "one of those" who decides to delay or break them up from now on. I have never had a child who had reactions to them before, but he clearly does. And...whatever others might think with the link to autism and shots...I do not want to risk it if it "might" be true. Now...I never thought about this before, but it is more common in a boy. I have been researching it...and right now my mind is not at ease.

All week my son has been waking up 3 or 4 times a night...before shots, only at 2 a.m. every night. I am hoping and praying tonight we have a good night. I am starting to run on fumes. I do not get to take a nap often because there is almost always someone who needs me or something that needs to be done...so I REALLY need him to sleep better. Today he has been acting a lot more like himself though...grabbing for toys, laughing, smiling, "talking", eating.

He is such a great addition to our family...such a sweetie pie. He just steals the hearts of all. I am so thankful to have him....and those blue eyes of his...just melt my heart.
