Sunday, Sunday

Sunday is by far my favorite day of the week. My husband, who works a bazillion hours a week is off 3 of 4 Sundays a month....so a family day! What a great Sunday again!

My girls got to swim today for the first time this season. It is too cold for me yet, but Lexi and Livia are fishies. They swim like little mermaids. I can't wait to get Allie lessons this year so that she can keep up with them...and I don't have to be so nervous when she is near the pool. She did get in too and sat on the step.

And of course...the legendary Sunday dinners. Growing up my momma always made yummy big Sunday dinners and I love this tradition. It's the one day where I am not rushing to get dinner fixed while dealing with all the kids on my own...so we get better food than during the week. On today's table we had roast beef (mother in law's recipe, yum!), mashed potatoes and gravy, fried zuchini and fried green tomatoes. Oh and if that sounds very hearty...we started the day with sausage gravy biscuits and had grilled hot dogs for lunch. It is definitely a day when we do not worry about calories or weight. :)

We also got some more spring cleaning done and took naps. Ahhhh... How I love Sundays. Now I have to make it through a busy week and then next Sunday is Easter!
