My weekend...

Plans change... I was going to clean today, run errands...and go to a friend's house tomorrow. Instead, today we realized my husband's car needs a new alternator...which will not be here until tomorrow....so he had to take my car to work this evening. He will need my car again tomorrow, which means, I am stuck at home. Not a horrible thing, as we have what we need here...but no going to my friend's house now.

Tomorrow morning I will get up and get his alternator from an auto shop with all 4 kids in tow, so that my husband can get a little sleep after working late. Then run to the store with all 4 kids in tow to pick up a few things. Then pray that our neighbor can fix the car. Otherwise, it will cost 5 times what the actual part costs for the labor...which was not budgeted into this month. Chances are good that he will be able to fix it. We are quite blessed with friends and neighbors who are so much handier than we are!

So..I will tidy up and fix some food...because my friend and her children are coming to our house instead. See...plans change... Her pool is warmer than ours...so the only drawback is that I will not swim now. After trying on a bathing suit for the first time this season, that may be a favor to both of us, lol.
