Here is the recipe for a breakfast casserole I made for my mom's group...my friend April's recipe. YUM!!
8 pieces of bread, cubed
1 1/2 pounds of breakfast sausage, cooked
3/4 pounds of cheddar cheese
2 1/2 cups of milk
4 large eggs
3/4 tsp dried mustard
can of cream of mushroom mixed with 1/4 cup of milk
The night before you need this, cube your bread and place in 9x13 pan. Add the cooked sausage on top. Sprinkle the cheese on top, saving a handful or two for the top of your soup. Mix together the milk, eggs, and dried mustard and place on top of the cheese. Put in fridge covered until the morning. Put the cream of mushroom and milk mixture on top of the casserole in the morning and sprinkle with a little more cheese. Put in 325 oven for 1 hour.
I have not met anyone who hasn't loved this. It is fabulous!
