Another good day in the Devescovi household...

Girls had school...mama got to stay snuggled until 7:20 before getting Livia ready because daddy took Lexi. Nice! I was up several times during the night with poor Domenick who was not feeling well after having shots. So...just those few extra minutes was very nice.

I cleaned up a bit and then was off to get Livia and her friends from school. Had a short nap. Then we went to Lowe's to price out what it will cost to make a garden. We do not have very rich soil here, so we are doing the square foot garden, boxing it out with wood and putting a mix of soils. Yay! We are planting onions, carrots, spinach, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, zuchini, and eggplant. Wish us luck. It is our first time attempting this. I am excited though because if it works we plan on keeping it up and it will really reduce our grocery bill. We buy a lot of fresh produce! Now, we just need to get a couple hens, a cow, some chickens, and a pig :(. Wonder if our HOA will mind. :)

And...now we just finished eating a very yummy dinner if I do say so myself. Grilled pork chops, cornbread casserole, my Nanny's peas, and wild rice. Hmmm...we seem to have a theme in our house, lol. We love food. Good thing we are semi active or we might have an issue with it. I am proud to say I have actually lost all but 6 lbs of my weight. They say you will hold onto about 5 if you nurse anyway, so I have done well. Now I need to kick up the activity and the water intake and I will lose the rest.
