My new do...

I got my hair colored, a hilight and lowlight today. It looks fabulous, if I do say so myself. I have colored it myself for over a year, so it was a real treat. I know why I haven't had it professionally done it in over a year though. Sheesh! It took the girl 3 1/2 hrs to color and cut my hair. I have chin length hair, so I am not quite sure what took so long. She was a very nice stylist and did a great job...but I couldn't do it often, as that is a long time! I had to get a friend to pick up my daughter from preschool, not anticipating such a long appointment.


Also...the cost! Double Sheesh! With discount, $120, that was with a 20% coupon. I had a giftcard, so most was paid for as a gift...but crazy how expensive it is. I suppose this will be a rare treat for myself. As momma to 4, it is a luxury I can't afford myself often.

I will certainly enjoy my new do though. As a 9 month pregnant momma, with an extra 30 lbs on me right now, few clothes that fit, it does something for the self-esteem to have pretty hair. :) I have a giftcard to get my toes done too...but will not waste that til the weather gets warmer. No sense having beautiful toes if they have to go into socks and shoes. (I am a flip flop girl...can't stand my toes to be holed up in real shoes. :)
