A little over 3 weeks before Nicky is due. I have always been so impatient for my babies, but this time not so much. Of course I can't wait to meet him, but I know how hectic life is after a baby comes home...how the days sort of muddle together and it is difficult to do much more than survive. So...I am trying to get everything I can done...and spend lots of time with my girls. I have never doubted for a minute that we are meant to have each child, but I do always feel badly for my girls when we have a new addition. It is an adjustment for everyone. They are pretty well adjusted girlies though and usually take it all in stride.
Before Nicky comes though I hope to do our taxes. We love tax time. It used to be such a stressor because we always owed. Now, with 3 kids and a mortgage, we are thankful to no longer owe. This year in particular I can't wait to do our taxes. We are hoping to buy T's truck and get rid of that payment, since I am no longer babysitting. Woohoo! I am sure anyone who has ever had financial stress can relate to the relief when you get rid of a payment. This year we are really focusing on getting rid of financial obligations and creating no new ones!!!
I need to pack mine and Nicky's bags...which means I need to go get a few things to make myself more comfy after baby is born.
I would also love to get my hair cut and colored, thanks to my sweet sis who got me a gift card for Christmas just for this occasion. T got me a gift cert for a pedicure as well. So, a pamper me day would really be fabulous.
So, if Nicky would like to stay in my warm and comfy belly for a few more weeks, this is just fine with me...but if he does come early that's alright too. I can always dye my own hair and paint my own toes. :)
We LOVE October!
