Tribute to my firstborn.

I still remember finding out I was pregnant with Alexis. The moment I knew that my life was about to change forever. I would now be in charge of a little person, making sure I was the best mommy I could be, even before she came into the world. We were so excited, but scared beyond belief.
I had an easy pregnancy...a long labor...but she was an easy baby from the start, such a little sweetie. She had the tiniest cry, was a great nurser, and slept well from the start. Such a dream baby! I was in love from the start.
That was 6 years ago! My little baby is now 55 lbs, and 4 feet tall. She still has a sweet disposition. She is a very likable person, who really wants to please people! She loves to learn and is a great student in school...as smart as she is sweet. She remembers everything like her daddy! She is mommy's helper. She is a beautiful little girl and I am so lucky to be her mom!
I can't believe how fast time has gone by. People tell you all the time it will go by fast and you'll wake up and they will be in college. I believe it but hope it doesn't happen quite like that. I want to keep her little forever, but since that is not possible I really want to cherish these years and make sure that I am doing everything in my power to mold her into the best person she can be.
