That sure doesn't describe me at all...but I am going to channel my inner craftiness for the holiday season. Oh yeah... Mama needs to save some dough this Christmas. So, what am
I learning to make...soy candles. I burnt one for the first time the other day and I paid $5 for a 6 oz one from the farmer's market. I can make them for about $2 per candle for 16 oz....add a cute shade and there you have it. We will also get a family photo for grandparents...and my friend is teaching me how to make a beautiful beaded bracelet. So...I can give some useful, great, inexpensive gifts to people without breaking the bank.
I am still brainstorming to see if I can come up with anymore ideas....SIMPLE ideas because I have no creative ability!!
I am proud of myself though... Also, I will be making my girl's costumes for the 2nd year in a row. Last year they were way cuter than any of the store bought ones of the past and this year will be just as cute. They are going to all be m & m's. Way cheaper than the $30 costumes at the stores...and it keeps Lexi from wanting to be a Princess for the umpteenth time.
We LOVE October!
