My night

This too shall pass...

My night tonight consisted of getting Lexi and Livia to bed with no fuss right at 8...they were pooped majooped from playing outside all day long with friends and swimming...and helping me clean up. Then putting Allie to bed...to which she screamed. I went in there talked to her softly and laid her down and she screamed. I had to nurse my little guy and he was ready for bed...so she had to scream. What else was I supposed to do? I got him to sleep and was checking out facebook...then he woke back up. I was nursing and rocking him back to sleep...and then who starts screaming again? Allie of course. I go to check on her and she asks "rock me, mommy?' Pulling on the ole heartstrings. I rock her, try to put her down and she starts crying again. So...I enjoyed rocking her like I haven't in a while...for a whole episode of House...and try to lay her down again...to which of course she started screaming. I patted her back and talked to her soothingly, backed up out of her room and she screamed...but only for a few minutes this time. Finally there is quiet. I am praying earnestly for the peace to keep until at least 7:30 tomorrow morning....besides my usualy night feeding with Domenick.
