Ice Cream Cake Recipe...feel free to tur ry this. It will be our first time trying it. :)
2 l/2 gallons of ice cream. I am using vanilla and waffle cone ice cream.
Whipped cream
a bag of chocolate wafer cookies smushed and mixed with the magic shell coating.
It calls for a 9 inch spring form pan. First make sure it is nice and cold. Let your ice cream sit out for a bit so that it is easy to use. Spread vanilla ice cream along the sides of your pan. Put whatever other type of ice cream you are using on the bottom of the pan and put back in the freezer until it is nice and firm. Add your mix of cookies and magic shell. Put back in the freezer for a few hours. Add the vanilla ice cream on top and put back in the freezer until nice and firm.
Brush the sides of your pan with warm water to losen the ice cream a bit from the sides. Pop it out of the pan, so that you can frost the top and sides. Frost it with whipped cream. Put any topping you would like on top ( chocolate sauce, sprinkles). Freeze until ready to serve.
YUMMY! This was Tony's request for his birthday cake on Easter. I am too cheap to spend $30 for one already made. Seriously, that is highway robbery. So, hopefuly it turns out well.
