Here's our weekly menu after shopping at Publix and Aldi. I took advantage of bogos and sale on meats at Publix and bought a lot of my produce and snacky things at Aldi. If you have an Aldi, check it out...but bring a quarter for your buggy.
Sunday: Ribs (1.59 a lb), collard greens, corn bread, homemade mac and cheese, brownie sundaes
Monday: dried black beans in the slow cooker with ham, served over brown rice
Tuesday: chicken, stove top, fresh green beans with new potatoes
Wednesday: sausage and peppers sandwiches, roasted red potatoes, leftover veggies
Thursday: Allie's birthday dinner: grilled shrimp, pasta, broccoli...a cake for dessert.
Friday: blts, leftover sides from the week
Saturday: pizza night
