Proud Mama

So, today Lexie says, "Guess what? I was on tv today." "For what" I say. "Oh just this student of the month thing and then we made slime in class."

Yeah, so my daughter is student of the month at her school. She wasn't nearly as impressed as her daddy and I are. She got a certificate that says it is for displaying integrity.
I am soo proud of her. I got teary eyed. We try so hard to raise our girls right, but you never know if they are going to make right choices or not...you just pray and hope that they will and that what you are doing is right. She is only in kindergarten, but I am soo proud that she is making right choices and was recognized for this. This school is pretty large...over 200 kindy students alone. She really is such a gift to us and I am truly lucky to be her mama. I tend to expect so much from her and sometimes I am too hard on her because she is my oldest......but I just love her to pieces.
